Our Feature on East Midlands Today News

We enjoyed being interviewed for the news about much we are enjoying our wonderful outdoor learning area and what a positive impact it is having on us since returning to school. Thank you to everyone who helped create this inspirational environment!

Our Outdoor Learning Area Project

Our project has brought our community together in so many different ways during the difficult times since lock-down: staff, parents and grandparents along with other members of the local community all pulling together, everyone offering help and support and a huge show of solidarity. Our wonderful outdoor learning area will be a fundamental part of our Curriculum for all our children for years to come. This is just the beginning of our outdoor learning adventure........watch this space!

Lucy Moxey’s BLM 500 Words Winning Announcement

Thank you ABC staff

What a lovely end of year surprise from our wonderful parents and carers. We are so blessed to have such a kind and supportive school community.

Looking to the Rainbow

Our children all sang this song individually and Mrs Lock's technical wizardry has put all their individual performances together to create a virtual choir. Looking To The Rainbow, was composed as a message of hope during the pandemic. Composer, Becky Drake, said: “I wrote this song to bring some joy to the children I work with and give them hope that we won’t be in lockdown forever." What a wonderful way for us to join together during this time!
